I am going to disclose some personal information.

My credit score is absolutely horrid! It is 620. I've gone to the following web sites:

Since my credit score is below 620, and I have applied at T-mobile, Verizon wireless, Alltel, cingular wireless/AT&t, Sprint/Nextel, Helio. I typed in the keyword in Google: free cell phone hoping to get a free cell phone and there's always a catch. A lot of my friends coincidentally in the last month were also looking for free cell phones because their contract has come up. I asked them if they've also been going online to apply for free cell phone? Some of my friends have credit scores over 700 which is considered good, other friends of mine have credit scores that is 800 or higher. I asked them if they were successful in getting a free cell phone? Here's the answer they gave me

I got rejected by all the wireless carriers!

Either, there is a global voodoo curse on all cell phone applicants in the last month doesn't matter what their credit rating is who have been rejected for a cell phone or the providers have put everyone in the black box and projecting no, these people won't pay their cell phone bill. You see: T-Mobile, Verizon wireless, Alltel, cingular wireless/AT&t, Sprint/Nextel, would never tell you or disclose in public what is the credit rating threshold. Each wireless carrier will have a different credit rating threshold to determine the credit worthiness of cell phone applicants. I was shocked and flabbergasted to find out that eight of the 10 friends I've asked in the last month if they've got approved for cell phone with excellent credit rating were rejected.
