Hi, I am back, what i do for a living is I take folks out on my fishing boat and I help them catch halibut up in Port Hardy.
Pros: sleek full keyboard, robust 2 mega-pixel camera, easy to move around, good sound, get bundled roxio multimedia software, amazing battery life
Cons: I can not import email addresses, sometimes my calls would not connect, can not record video
I really like the 2.5 inch, 320 x 240 pixel display, it rendered all the websites, maps to photos I take of the food I cook. There is a standard 3.5 mm stereo jack for you to plug your headset into, a usb port, and also a push to talk key line on the left hand side of the curve. You may not know this but the Curve is just as slim as the pearl, (0.6 inches) I also like how it slips easy in my chef jacket breast pocket. I love my chef uniform, I have them special made with a high thread count cotton. Although if i am trying a new recipe for my daughter and I, I turn off the blackberry curve.
Best PDA phone for a single dad
- I love the GPS as I get lost easily, I miss my live human being ex-wife who was my GPS system
- I also enjoy the integrated stereo bluetooth where I can listen to folks like Iyant, Esther Hicks, Wayne Dyer and James Ray. After the divorce I realize I need to do some personal growth so I can attract a women who will be a good mother for my high spirited daughter who is certainly a hand full.
- Blackberry is a very strong email push to email live email, I had no difficulty setting up the gmail using the set up wizard. I am not a good speller, so I really like the spell checker function including a customizable dictionary. As with Blackberry Pearl, and the 8800 world edition RIM device, you will have no problem, viewing: word, excel, PDF and JPEG attachments.
- On the EDGE at&t connection, i had easy time loading web pages and fast browsing on the curve. Even without the wi fi, I was able to start reading the sites within 7 to 10 seconds. Images took a little longer to load, anywhere between 10 to 20 seconds.
- I found the call quality good and acceptable on the AT&T network, but wish I could crank the volume higher from the curve earpiece
I hope you enjoyed my ranting about getting a free at t cell phone
