Happy Canada Day!

Are you young at heart? I just watched the movie Young at Heart yesterday. Boy am I inspired by the talent of the senior citizen's voice. I will be jumping all over the place today as I am blogging. At first, I left my home at 4:00am to make the 6:00am Ferry. As I was gasing up and pulling out my Samsung Omnia cell phone to see if my boy friend called me to see if I fell back into sleep instead of getting on the road. I have to say I love the Iphone interface so much that I begged my boyfriend to buy me a unlocked iphone device where I purchased for less than a dollar these amazing 6 iphone apps:

1. Idelux Fake call locations: what I love about this app if I need to call my anal sister who gets mad at me every time I am late for our family sunday dinner. I use the stuck in traffic mode, she hears a lot of traffic noise including honking in the background and the occasional shouting of profanity out the window. This way when she gives me the evil eye when I arrive late, I can say that I was stuck in traffic. The amazing thing is that this idelux creates background noise needed to help me fake my where abouts. There are 12 different fake locations you can pretend to be at.
2. CrazyLapps Atypical meeting tools. For less than $1, you can get your iphone to snore, ding a dong, a bomb dropping to hint to the director of the boring meeting that it is time for a happy hour drink and they need to terminate this boring meeting.
3. Meetingtimer time is money, this is a cheap app, eleganttechnologies.com. I am lucky to be an artist/yoga teacher/craftswomen that I don't have to attend boring meetings because I am self employed. This app will calculate how many minutes and how much time is wasted on a boring meeting. Translating a boring 45 min to be a loss in revenue of $101.90.
4. Rock Iphone Doodler
   I find that it is amazing the amount of cool apps on an iphone. This app will let you draw, antlers, devil horn, goatee on a very masculine looking women, glasses for someone who is always bumping into you at the office. You can add a double chin for people who you think would look cool as a chubby sumo, or even a chubby fat in the back of the neck, my bowen therapist thinks I need to get liposuck surgery to suck out my baby fat neck on the back of my neck. So if you are bored at a meeting and want to draw these enhancing beauty things on a work mate, boss or enemy, you can provide yourself with endless amount of joy and entertainment.
5. Fake a call at excelltechmobile.com - > for $0.99, you can get this website to make a call to your Iphone. Which you pretend to answer to get out of a boring date, meeting or taking to someone who is so full of himself or herself that you want to shut this noise off. Do you sometimes ever get stuck talking to a very self important person while I am on the ferry and want to make a polite exit. You can even create a false fake caller ID to display on your Iphone. To top it off and make it real, you can even select a fake voice, as there is no real person on the other end of the phone.

Anyway I met a really amazing fellow who also teaches surfing and Kriya yoga on the ferry this morning. I did not even know him and I was surprised he had me analyze his astrology chart. Would you believe, I did not have to use my fake a call apps because this was not a boring conversation. He announced he was on his way to the Fiji Islands! But due to some emergency it is up in the air if he can get there to surf in the open ocean. It is amazing how people use their cell phone as a phone and photo album at the same time. He showed me on his Samsung Glyde when he went to a monastry. He even showed me all the art work he created which he was driving to a coffee shop to sell and display. It is incredible how open people can be to you if you are also open. I was amazed at the quality of the photos looking on his tiny Samsung Glyde LCD screen.
