- referred them to a church that serves hot meals every Sunday. If you are homeless and you happen to be in the white rock, British Columbia Canada area, you can go to a church and many of the church goers will even be willing to pick you up and drive you to the church this Sunday and every Sunday for you to have a hot meal. I do not have the name of this church. However if you are homeless, there is a good chance that you can get a free hot turkey Thanksgiving meal there

Refer them to your elder parents. Ask your mom or dad if you could invite a homeless person home for dinner this Thanksgiving?

Referred them to the closest Mormon Church. If you are single Mom and you happen to have many children that you cannot feed and you've gone to the food bank, there's no more food left, instead of going hungry, call the closest Mormon Church to where you are living. See if someone can pick you up from your home and invite you and your children to a hot Thanksgiving dinner.

My friend's mother who actually is a Mormon Church goer, found out that the 17 year-old teenage boy in front of him could not afford to buy a turkey for his family. In fact his father just came back from his service in the military. His father actually got wounded at war, and his disability check was not large enough for him to buy turkey, fixings to fix turkey dinner for his family. My friend's mom lets call her Betty, took out her checkbook and pour out her address on the check and gave it to a 17 year-old teenage boy. And invited them all to her house to share a warm hot cooked delicious Thanksgiving meal.
